We are looking for a Junior Financial Manager to be part of our dynamic team in growing our footprint in the wood chipping industry. This position will be situated in Worcester in the Western Cape.
Responsibilities
- Creditor Management: Oversee accounts payable, ensuring invoices are processed, and payments are tracked accurately and timeously.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Data Entry & Analysis: Support data entry in financial systems, with a focus on creditor-related transactions.
- Budget Monitoring: Help track and compare budgeted versus actual spending, particularly with creditor-related costs.
- Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling accounts payable records with bank statements and financial reports.
- General Admin Support: Provide administrative support to the finance team, focussing on creditor-related documentation and processes.
Desired Experience and Qualification
- Education: Recently graduated with a degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
- Attention to Detail & Analytical Skills: Ability to ensure accuracy in creditor transactions and financial analysis.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero, Eazy Costing, Approval Max, etc.)
- Communication & Organizational Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to manage creditor-related tasks efficiently.
