Africa Biomass Company is currently recruiting for a Junior Production Manager.
We are looking for a motivated and capable Junior Production Manager to join our dynamic team as we grow our footprint in the wood chipping industry. This position will be based in Sunlands, Eastern Cape.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the management and coordination of production activities.
• Support client liaising regarding wood chipping projects.
• Supervise and guide employees and small teams.
• Ensure preventative maintenance of machines and equipment is performed.
• Assist with demonstrations of woodchippers and sales support.
• Monitor production efficiency and quality control standards.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
• At least 2–5 years’ experience in production, manufacturing, or the agri sector.
• Experience within the forestry sector will be to your advantage.
• Familiarity with Earth Moving Machines or Industrial Woodchippers is an advantage.
• Strong planning, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
• Ability to represent Africa Biomass Company to clients under guidance.
• Decision-making and problem-solving aptitude.
• Team management and collaborative skills.
• Administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
